About Anne Marie Milne
I studied portrait painting and figure drawing with Tony Ryder from 2017-2020. Since leaving his school I have begun to explore still life and plein air painting and drawing using the techniques he taught me.
I grew up, and currently live, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is my favorite place in the world. I taught math here for several years before I began to study art full time in 2017. I hope that the love of learning and of discovering patterns beneath the surface, that I developed teaching math, show through in my current work.
